The Gospel According to Spiritism

A book ahead of its time, The Gospel according to Spiritism has set a high standard in restoring the original power and significance of Jesus Christ’s unique message to the world. Using his extensive knowledge on the subject, Allan Kardec presents the ancient scriptures with effortless authority, as he explains step by step the many concepts, words and expressions found in the Gospel that have become obscure and difficult to understand after centuries and millennia of successive copies and translations. On top of that, there is the invaluable insight provided by higher-order spirits themselves, which clarifies several passages hitherto largely misapprehended. Above all this book demystify popular beliefs and shows the true nature of so-called miracles and wonders, “without derogating from the immutability of the laws which govern the whole.” This brand-new English translation went to great lengths to render this book palatable to the modern reader, while remaining absolutely loyal to the original. The word Gospel formerly meant good news and in English it derives directly from the word God. May this book bring truly good news to all its readers
